Sun Moon Lake, located in Yuchi Township, Nantou County, Taiwan, is a beautiful alpine lake. Bounded by Lalu Island, its eastern side resembles a sun, and its western side resembles a moon, hence the name Sun Moon Lake. Surrounded by dense mountains and lush forests, the lake's vast, mirror-like surface reflects the ever-changing mountains.<\/p>\n

Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area encompasses five major recreational systems: those surrounding the lake, Shuili River, Puli, Zhuoshui River, and Jiji. Surrounding the area are tourist hotspots such as Taomi, Checheng, Jiji, Shuishe Mountain, Shuanglong Waterfall, Mingtan Reservoir, and Shuili River.<\/p>\n

The beauty of Sun Moon Lake is formed by the blending of mountains and water, just like a picturesque landscape, with misty water vapor and distinct layers of mountain scenery. Every scene and object is naturally formed, with a poetic and picturesque artistic conception, thus enjoying the reputation of being one of the Eight Scenic Spots of Taiwan.<\/p>\n

The surface of Sun Moon Lake is clear and green, surrounded by mountains, with mountains and water reflecting each other, and the scenery is charming. The beauty of Sun Moon Lake echoes with beautiful grace from early morning to dusk, from spring and summer to autumn and winter, whether it is sunny or misty, which makes people never tired of watching it and amazed!<\/p>\n

In the early morning, the surface of the lake is covered with a layer of gauze, rippling with a hazy beauty; when the sun rises from the mountains, the originally hazy shadow of the lake slowly reveals its outline, and the lake surface reflects the shape of the mountains and tree shadows, which contrast with the chirping of insects and birds; at dusk, the lake water is dyed into shining golden light by the setting sun, like a glass fairyland; when night falls, the reflection of the lights sways with the ripples on the lake surface, and the cool evening breeze blows, like an elf spreading romantic fragrance, which makes people intoxicated!<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
