The road is flat, the terrain is wide and open, and there are three pools in the center. Located on the western leeward side of Datun Mountain, it is often shrouded in clouds and mist, creating beautiful scenery. Furthermore, the area lies between the subtropical and warm temperate zones, boasting a mild climate, complex forest landscapes, and a wide variety of plant species. The edge of the forest is dominated by red nanmu, black pine, and sweetgum, creating a tranquil atmosphere reminiscent of a deep valley in the Cangshan Mountains.<\/p>\n<p>The sub-tree and shrub layers are dominated by Taiwan safflower, Eurya, Chinese wolfberry, black star cherry (black-spotted cherry), long-stemmed purple hemp, pointed-leaf maple, and Taiwan tree ginseng. The herbaceous layer is dominated by taro, indigo, Taiwan indigo, snakeroot, yellow sage, duck-foot begonia, and various ferns.
