During the Japanese colonial period, the trail was converted into the &quot;Shuishan Line&quot; railway for transporting timber, and many railway relics still remain.<br \/>\nThe front section of the trail is relatively flat, with Cryptomeria japonica trees planted along the way, creating beautiful scenery; the back section is a steep, stepped trail with wooden sleepers, which is a broad-leaved primeval forest. The landscape changes with each season and the flora and fauna are rich, making it an excellent bird-watching trail.<\/p>\n<p>Drive along County Road 169 towards Dabang and Tefuye; after entering the image gate at the entrance of Tefuye Village, turn right and the trail entrance will come into view.
