New Taipei Christmasland 2025 will feature the theme “Circus Carnival,” in collaboration with the globally renowned character IP brand LINE FRIENDS & LINE FRIENDS minini. A variety of adorable and playful installations will be set up across Citizen Square, Station Plaza, Wanping Park, Fuzhong Plaza, and Banqiao Bus Terminal. At today’s (23rd) press conference, ten major highlights of the event were revealed, including Taiwan’s only “Dreamy Circus Main Light,” which combines lighting, music, and dynamic mechanics to present a dazzling show under the theme “Joyful Circus Tent.” The opening night will showcase a spectacular circus performance titled “The Magical Circus Grand Show,” while a brand-new concert projection and LED stage linkage will debut, creating an immersive audio-visual experience through synchronized light and sound. LINE FRIENDS characters Brown, Choco, Sally, Cony, and minini friends Lenini, Salini, and Bnini will appear throughout the light zones, offering exclusive Christmas-themed decorations and photo spots. A five-sense immersive experience zone will allow visitors to explore the fun and surprise of innovative technology, while a new naked-eye 3D color curtain installation using large containers will bring fresh visual appeal. Station Plaza will be transformed into Taiwan’s most beautiful European fairytale village, evoking the charm of a winter scene abroad. Multiple mechanical installations will deliver dynamic performances through the interplay of lights, sound, and motion. Promotion will be launched nationwide through 7-ELEVEN stores, ensuring widespread visibility for the event. Additionally, a limited-edition CHOCO popcorn bucket featuring a cute pink design will be available for purchase, adding even more festive delight to the Christmasland experience.
The 2025 New Taipei Christmasland will feature not only circus-themed Christmas installations, but also a rich lineup of festive events kicking off after the grand opening on Friday, November 14. That evening, the “Christmas Circus Opening Show” will dazzle audiences with a spectacular light performance paired with a magical circus show. From Saturday, November 15 to Sunday, November 16, the “Kids’ Circus Carnival” will bring joyful interactive song and dance performances, immersing both children and adults in the cheerful holiday spirit. From Friday, December 5 to Sunday, December 7, the event will host the culturally vibrant “Freunde willkommen! German Christmas Market.” The highly anticipated “Superstar Christmas Concert – The Greatest Show” will take place on Saturday and Sunday, December 13–14, featuring a lineup of major artists lighting up the stage. On Christmas Day, Thursday, December 25, the “Brass Band Carnival – Christmas Jingle” will offer a diverse and moving musical feast.
