The Jingpu Tribe (Ciwi' in the Amis language) is located at the southernmost tip of Fengbin Township in Hualien County, close to the mouth of the Xiuguluan River. Bounded by the Pacific Ocean to the east and the coastal mountain range to the west, it is one of the few Indigenous settlements in eastern Taiwan to experience a blend of mountain, sea, river, and island terrain. The tribe's name means "flat land within the valley," reflecting its unique topography.

Jingpu is a prominent Amis tribe. Its residents have relied on fishing for generations, venturing out to sea early in the morning to catch eel fry, wave crabs, and other seafood, fostering a unique estuarine culture. The tribe, known as the "Tribe of the Sun" because of its location closest to the sunrise, was used as a filming location for the film "Children of the Sun."

Jingpu Tribe actively promotes cultural and ecotourism. Visitors can participate in activities such as rubber rafting, archery, fishing with a bagua net, and weaving DIY, gaining a deeper understanding of the Amis people's wisdom and their coexistence with nature. The tribe also features the "Sun Plaza" and the "Dagangkou Incident Monument," the latter commemorating the historical event of Aboriginal resistance to the Qing Dynasty's policy of opening up the mountains and appeasing the aboriginals.
