The Luanshan Tribe (Sazasa in the Bunun language) is located at the southern foot of Dulan Mountain in Yanping Township, Taitung County. It is an indigenous tribe inhabited by the Bunun people for generations. The tribe's name means "a land where sugarcane grows tall, animals thrive, and people live well," symbolizing the land's richness and vitality.

The most famous attraction in Luanshan Tribe is the Luanshan Forest Cultural Museum, also known as the "Forest Museum." It's an open, natural space without fences, buildings, or electrical infrastructure. The park preserves Taiwan's most complete mixed forest of banyan trees, where the intertwined aerial roots of the banyan trees form a magnificent "forest palace." Because the banyan trees naturally grow roots and replace dead branches, they are known as "walking trees."

Led by Chief Aliman, the tribe works together to protect the forest and promote eco-tourism and cultural experiences. Half-day or full-day tours offer visitors a glimpse into the Bunun's forest wisdom, migration history, and traditional rituals, while also offering a taste of indigenous cuisine, including bamboo rice, grilled fish, and wild vegetables.
