Located in Nantou County, Taiwan, near the scenic Sun Moon Lake, the Formosan Aboriginal Cultural Village is a themed park that combines Aboriginal culture with leisure and recreational activities. Named after the "Nine Tribes," the park showcases the traditional lifestyles, dances, and architecture of Taiwan's nine major indigenous groups, including the Amis, Atayal, and Bunun. Visitors can experience Aboriginal culture firsthand, enjoy spectacular performances, and participate in handicraft workshops at the tribal pavilion.
In addition to cultural performances, the Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village also features large-scale recreational facilities and garden landscapes. A cable car system provides direct access to Sun Moon Lake, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The annual cherry blossom festival in spring and the light sculpture show in winter attract numerous visitors, making it an ideal destination for families.
