The entrance to the Eryanping Trail is located off Provincial Highway 18 at 52.8K. There's a viewing platform right at the entrance. The trail is approximately 2,165 meters long. The trail was created when early mountain residents reclaimed land, passing through the gap between Xiding Mountain and Eryanping Mountain. The trail offers excellent views, with breathtaking sunsets and seas of clouds, making it a perfect photo spot.

The newly added trail begins at the pavilion at the end of the original trail and continues up the mountain with a wooden plank path. Along the way, visitors will encounter diverse scenery, including bamboo forests, unusual rocks, and tea plantations. The trail offers panoramic views of the Jianan Plain, Renyi Lake, and Lantan Reservoir. On clear days, visitors can also see Dongshi and Budai Outer Harbor in the distance, and to the east, the peaks of Yushan Mountain can be seen. In winter, visitors can witness waterfalls and seas of clouds, and the stunning sunsets attract many photographers.
