Hohocha, the Taiwan Sun Moon Lake Black Tea Factory, is located on Provincial Highway 21, approximately 5 kilometers from Sun Moon Lake. Its Japanese-style building, clad in dark wood tones, looms amidst the lush greenery, and the fragrant aroma of tea invites visitors to linger. The first floor of the theme building houses a "touristic tea factory," integrating the production line with the visitor's flow. Not only is the production line transparent, but each machine is accompanied by an explanatory sign detailing the eight key steps in tea production, allowing visitors to gain a deeper understanding of the ISO 22000 certification and the Department of Agriculture and Food's Five-Star Tea Factory designation. Nearby, the fragrant hand-cranked black tea and black tea eggs offer a delightful treat for visitors.

The second floor, along the route, features a merchandise sales area featuring light snacks and souvenirs. From inside, you can overlook the tea-making process from a transparent skylight. Outside, you can savor tea-infused gelato while surrounded by the mountains, creating a truly romantic experience. There's also a "specially developed black tea crust pizza" where you can sign up for a DIY pizza class and experience the joy of making your own pizza. The entire third floor is dedicated to the "Tea Experience Area," featuring solid wood tables and chairs and round glass lamps, creating a Zen-style atmosphere. In this warm-toned space, you can savor, knead, blend, seal, and serve tea, experiencing the Taiwanese tea culture.
