Located in Shoufeng Township, Hualien County, Yunshanshui Fantasy Lake is a hidden gem of a natural landscape that has rapidly gained popularity in recent years. It's renowned for its dreamlike atmosphere, created by the interweaving of lakeside scenery, mountains, and bald cypress forests. The lake, covering approximately 24 hectares, boasts a unique Tiffany blue color, resulting from its rich limestone-rich texture, creating a clear, soft, and beautiful scene reminiscent of a European fairy tale.
The lake is surrounded by numerous bald cypress trees, which are at their peak viewing season from December to January. The leaves, turning from green to yellow and then to reddish-brown, are reflected on the lake in a picturesque scene. The park offers scenic spots such as a lakeside trail, a jumping stone waterfall, a single-plank bridge, and a pier. The jumping stone trail, which passes through the bald cypress forest, is a favorite among photography enthusiasts.
