The Linmei Shipan Trail offers views of a low-altitude subtropical valley. Renovated along an old canal, the trail is now spacious, flat, and easy to walk on, while retaining a sense of ancient charm. The trail is rich in ecology, with shady trees, gurgling water, and bursts of phytoncides. Walking along it is incredibly refreshing and perfect for a family hike.

The trail's name is a combination of "Linmei" and "Shipan." "Linmei" refers to Linmei Village in Jiaoxi Township, while "Shipan" refers to Shipan Waterfall. As a result, the trail boasts numerous streams, waterfalls, pools of varying sizes, and canyon formations, creating a picturesque scene. It's known as the "Little Taroko of Yilan." Sunlight filtering through the leaves creates captivating shadows, and tree frogs and insects rest on the leaves, creating a delightful and vibrant trail where you can breathe in the vibrant energy of nature.
