Lihpao Land Resort, located in Houli District, Taichung City, is one of the largest integrated leisure parks in Taiwan, covering approximately 200 hectares. It combines the amphibious and water theme parks "Mala Bay" and "Discovery World," along with the Fullon Hotel, Lihpao Outlet Mall, the Sky Dream Ferris Wheel, and the Lihpao International Raceway, among other diverse facilities, making it ideal for families, couples, and group travel.
The park is conveniently located near the Houli Interchange on National Highway 1, with a large parking lot and shuttle service. Visitors can enjoy summer water play at Mala Bay or experience roller coasters, carousels, and other rides at Discovery World. The "Sky Dream" Ferris wheel, at 384 meters tall, is Taiwan's tallest and, at night, is a popular spot for photo-ops.
A noteworthy feature is the "Bald Cypress Avenue" at the rear of the park, a kilometer-long path lined with thousands of bald cypress trees. From December to January, when the colors change, the interweaving of yellow, green, and red creates a picturesque spectacle. Admission is free, attracting numerous visitors seeking photography and scenic views. The flat path is ideal for strolling and taking photos, while visitors can also visit Lihpao Land and the outlet mall, offering a day trip that combines shopping with natural beauty.
