Luodong Night Market is one of Yilan County's most iconic night markets. Located around Zhongshan Park in Luodong Township, it encompasses Minsheng Road, Minquan Road, Gongyuan Road, and Xingdong Road, forming a square-shaped commercial district. The night market is open year-round, from 6:00 PM to midnight.

This night market is not only a popular shopping destination for locals but also a must-see for tourists visiting Yilan. The market boasts a diverse selection of affordable clothing, shoes, and daily necessities. The most appealing aspect is the dazzling array of traditional Taiwanese snacks. Famous delicacies include stuffed rice balls, dragon and phoenix legs, scallion pancakes, angelica and mutton soup, radish meat, cake crumbs, and salted rice tuna. The "Rou Geng Fan" restaurant, known for its uniquely flavored meat rolls, has even been featured at state banquets.

Night market snacks, often called "park snacks," are concentrated around Zhongshan Park, forming an H-shaped pattern. Besides delicious food, the night market also offers entertainment such as fortune-telling and tarot card reading. Zhongshan Park also boasts family-friendly amenities like slides and a miniature train photo booth.

For transportation, take the Taiwan Railway to Luodong Station, which is a 10-minute walk away. Alternatively, take the Kuo-Kuang, Capital, or Kamalan Bus lines to Luodong Station. Luodong Night Market not only showcases Yilan's local flavor but also offers a vibrant blend of food, shopping, and entertainment.
